This Thursday, El Poble Nou de Benitatxell’s mayor, Miguel Ángel García, as well as Tourism councillor, Victor Bisquert, have received the visit of the coordinator of the Tourist Info Network in Alicante’s province, Ángel Murcia. In a tour for the main attractions in town, they have stopped in the centre and at cala Moraig as well.
At the centre they have visited the church and its viewpoint, with beautiful views to the vineyard fields and coast. Afterwards, they have looked over the surroundings of the local building at Capelletes which, thanks to the programme ‘Reconstruïm Pobles’, which will give out a financing of 500.000 euros, will be restored to host the new Tourist Info in town at the ground floor, among other settings.
The coordinator of the Tourist Info Network has shown a great interest in the project, that, with this new location and a great space, will suppose a change in the paradigm of touristic attention in town and will work as a union nexus between the urban centre and the coast area. The intention is to build up a new modern tourism office and with the latest technology news in order to attract the tourist not only to the calas and beaches, but also to the centre.
Furthermore, Ángel Murcia has visited cala Moraig and its Touristic Information Point El Puig de la Llorença which is located at the parking lot and access area too, next summer it will be improved in its facilities to offer a better service of the users in the calas. Murcia has been able to check the new functioning of booking through the App ‘AparcarE’ and the security which this capacity control of 400 people gives out to the beach, where they are perfectly fulfilling the security distancing.
